My name is Laura and I am a Yarnaholic.  Phew...I feel so much better now that I've admitted it.  After countless sermons by Oprah, Dr. Phil, Dr. Laura, Dr. Oz, Dr. Gupta, Dr. Smith, Bones, and on and on and on I decided to throw my comfy corporate job out the window and start a business doing something that I love. 

I'm just like you.  You can never have enough in your stash and the world of yarn is so vast and practically infinite that even if you're lucky enough to live in a city with a great local yarn shop chances are they can only carry a fraction of what's out there.  So that leads to online ordering which can be a mystery.

Thinking about this problem led me to start Row One Yarn.  Now you can try a bunch lux yarn companies and indi dyers by signing up for a monthly subscription.  No craft store acrylics here.  Not that there's anything wrong with that, but there's nothing like working with high quality natural fibers and vibrant colors you can only get from an artisan dyer. 

Now you can experience these beauties in a variety of colors without making a big commitment.   Our goal is to introduce you to as many interesting yarn sources as possible and to let you experiment with a ton of color for the cost of a little more than one skein of yarn.  We'll focus on a new source every month and every month will be a surprise. Who doesn't want a surprise burst of color spilling from their mailbox once a month? We've got big things planned too so stick around and check back often.
