Yarn Information

What kind of yarn is included in the kits?

All yarn in the kits will always be superwash fingering weight. Each kit uses the same base. Fiber content is typically a blend of 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon, or 80% superwash merino wool and 20% nylon. Although rare, a merino/cashmere/nylon or 100% merino could make an appearance.

Can I request specific colors for my kit?

Since our yarn dyers choose the dye colors as artists, we cannot accept requests for specific colors. However, if you prefer lighter or darker shades, you can make a request and we will do our best to accommodate you, though we cannot offer guarantees.

I saw 20 colors on Instagram, but my kit only had 10. Why?

Each individual kit contains 10 different colors in 10-gram minis. We produce 20 colors total each month; to receive the full set of 20, simply increase your order quantity to two kits per month and you will automatically receive them all.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

When will my kit ship?

All kits are shipped around the first of every month. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your kit is on its way.

What shipping methods do you use?

For domestic orders within the US, we ship via USPS Ground Advantage or UPS. International kits are shipped via USPS or DHL.

How much does shipping cost?

Domestic shipping within the United States is a flat rate of $6. However, shipping is FREE for US orders of two or more kits per month. International shipping costs vary by location; please contact us for a specific quote.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Because our monthly parcels are curated and hand-prepared specifically for our mailings, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

What if my package arrives damaged?

In the unlikely event of damage, please email us at RowOneYarn@gmail.com with a description and a photo of the package. We will be happy to rectify the issue for you.

Managing Your Subscription

Can I skip a monthly order?

Yes. To skip an order, log into your account, click on Orders, then View All Upcoming Orders. Select the specific order you wish to skip and click the Skip button.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard. Simply sign in, click Subscriptions, then Edit Options, and select Cancel this subscription.

When should I cancel if I don't want the next kit?

Please ensure you cancel before your next scheduled order, as we do not offer refunds once an order has been processed.

Can I add a promo code after an order is placed?

Unfortunately, no. Promo codes must be applied before your order is completed.
